Let us begin with the number everyone has repeated incorrectly, power per coin is the number to use: write down each upgrade’s cost and gain, then buy the largest gain divided by cost, not the flashiest building. Newcomer, do this before spending.
I tried comparing the upgrade panels, but troop power and hidden bonuses muddied the ledger. Does anyone know whether the displayed power gain includes every bonus?
