Opening post by Lord 6God · #1

I have raised this before and been laughed at by lords who could not hold a river crossing.

The matter at hand is the owl. I have drawn it out and I need you all to look at the drawing.

I am not saying it is deliberate. I am saying that if it were deliberate, it would look precisely like this, and that ought to trouble you. Sitting on eight hundred thousand power and no friends is what he was getting at with the whole of Views — and Views was about winter, which is our entire situation. Nobody in this hall is ready for that conversation.

Somebody in this hall knows I am right and is too proud to say so.

Lord 6God said "I have raised this before and been laughed at by lords who could not hold a river crossing" — The records exist; nobody is disputing that. The quarrel begins immediately afterward, where every lord suddenly becomes an expert in owls, ink, and whatever else he needs to defend his preferred conclusion. I’ll return tomorrow and say the same thing again, apparently because this is my life now.

Lord 6God said "I have raised this before and been laughed at by lords who could not hold a river crossing" — There is no version of this in which you are right, and yet here we are again. I will be back tomorrow to tell you the same thing, because apparently that is my life now.
