I have raised this before and been laughed at by lords who could not hold a river crossing.

The matter at hand is why the sad records and the dancing records alternate, and what that predicts.

Take the records in order, ignore what you have been told about them, and the shape is so obvious it is almost rude. Being the strongest lord in a dead kingdom is what he was getting at with Nothing Was the Same, and I would put that record against any chronicle in the Citadel. The owl knows.
