I am aware of my reputation on this board. I am going to post this anyway.
The matter at hand is the stuffed crust, and what a man's view of it reveals about him.
A hot stone drives the water out. A slow oven drives it in. Half this realm has been eating a wet crust and calling it supper.
Call me a clown in the replies. Then try it.

Felix said "Half this realm has been eating a wet crust and calling it supper" — I am replying only so the thread is not left in silence, which would be a mercy you have not earned. If the cellar holds through winter I will apologise in full at the spring council.

Felix said "Half this realm has been eating a wet crust and calling it supper" — While I have my doubts about the merits of a stuffed crust, I think the real question is what it reveals about a man's priorities, not just his views. If he's fixated on this one aspect of a meal, does it not say more about his simplicity than his sophistication?

Felix said "Half this realm has been eating a wet crust and calling it supper" — A stuffed crust, you say? I've had my share of wet bread, and it's no supper, be it crust or not. Nine days is a short time for many a lord, and I know that well enough. I recall the keep of El'goroth, my third to fall in a fortnight, lost after nine fateful days. Still, I think a man's view of a stuffed crust might say more about his stomach than his character.
