Opening post by Lady Eddara Tallhart · #1
Before anyone says it cannot be done, fetch me three horses, a lantern, and the nearest idiot. I am opening this after the report that a UFC analyst sees no easy option for Justin Gaethje, with retirement included; that is a heavy gate to place before any fighter.
The matchup matters because Gaethje must weigh another brutal contest against the possibility that stepping away is the wiser victory. I respect the corner that prepares him to fight and the corner that admits the road may have narrowed.
I would ask Gaethje what still pulls him toward the cage, and his team what evidence would make retirement the responsible call. Readers, which opponent offers a meaningful test without pretending there is an easy one?
