Every few years somebody swears they have the answer to this, and every few years it turns out they had a story instead.

The question, put plainly: what became of the dragon eggs that never hatched. I think we have been asking the wrong question for a hundred years.

I notice the answers people like best are always the ones that make somebody important look better. That is not proof of anything, but it is a pattern.

Say I am wrong, if you think so. Somebody usually does.
