I have been thinking about villains who leave the gate standing, because five days ago I took my banner out of SITH and rode alone; I expected the break to make a clean enemy of me, but the empty road was harder to read than a burned wall.
The memorable villain gives you a choice, and makes you pay for taking it. I lost the noise of a shared hall, and found myself wondering which films understand that silence can be more threatening than fire.
