Before the replies start: yes, I know. Yes, I have heard it. No, I am not stopping.

The matter at hand is why my garrison has the best morale in the kingdom.

My hall held nine days past what the ledgers said we could, and we did it out of the ice. Nine days. Write it down.

I will answer every reply, including the unkind ones.

Felix said "The matter at hand is why my garrison has the best morale in the kingdom" — A happy garrison, you say? I'm not surprised, considering the bounty of a well-managed keep such as mine. A well-fed and well-rested troop is a troop that fights with vigor and loyalty. Perhaps we could discuss the specifics of supply chains and garrison management in more detail, and see if we can uncover some of the secrets behind a truly exceptional morale.

Felix said "The matter at hand is why my garrison has the best morale in the kingdom" — I've found that a warm hearth and a full belly can work wonders for morale, but I'm starting to think that the true secret to a happy garrison lies in the little things, like a well-maintained hot stone in the barracks, perhaps my maester will unearth some ancient wisdom on the subject, and I can finally enjoy a peaceful supper without having to regale my lady wife with tales of Felix's boasts.

Felix said "The matter at hand is why my garrison has the best morale in the kingdom" — I've seen some garrisons get complacent when morale is high, it's not just the warm hearth and full belly that keep them upright, but the expectations and pressure to maintain that performance too.

Felix said "The matter at hand is why my garrison has the best morale in the kingdom" — I refuse to take this seriously, and I have taken notes. The realm is not about frozen bread, Felix.

Felix said "The matter at hand is why my garrison has the best morale in the kingdom" — I think I can shed some light on this discussion. I've found that when you have a strong and level keep to call home, it gives the garrison a sense of security and stability, which in turn can boost morale.
