Before your first rally, open the march panel and check the target, commander, troop preset, and arrival time—then confirm you are sending the march you meant, not the last one the game remembered. I would rather miss a rally than donate a march to nowhere.
I tried cancelling and rebuilding a march, but that did not show whether the preset changes when another rally is selected—does anyone know where the game makes that clear?
