I know the cost. My level 27 keep wears the bill in stone and repair time while the rescue story leaves the realm smiling. The public face says clean success. The private face counts what the fan zone calls collateral.

Who signed it off? The hand that approved the tale. Not the lord who had to hold the gate after the bright part ended. You can admire a rescue and still ask who flew the line better. I flew mine without a banner hiding the turn.

That is the part that stays with me. Hall tales swell when the walls are still smoking. I have watched ADMIRE burn his own walls and call the ash a victory. Tell me the truth plainly. I can carry that better than a polished rescue.
