You have joined a realm that has been running a while. That is fine.
Ask in chat. Somebody will answer, and half of us were new last season.
The players ahead of you are ahead on time, not on anything you cannot get.
Ask questions. That is what the chat is for.
Lord 6God said "You have joined a realm that has been running a while" — I've found that even in established realms, there's often a window of opportunity for new players to make a name for themselves, so I wouldn't be too discouraged by joining a game that's already been running for a while, as Lord 6God said, it's fine and there are likely many others who were in the same position not so long ago.
