I have been on both ends of what follows. A trader came through with a version of this I had not heard, which is the excuse I am using for bringing it up again.

What I am actually asking is what the Three-Eyed Crow wanted with a broken boy. I think the plain answer is the true one, and everybody has talked themselves past it.

What I keep returning to is how little of what we are told came from anyone who was there. It is all copies of copies, and each copy had a lord paying for the ink.

Do it properly the first time. I did not.
