The trouble began three days earlier, when everyone agreed there was no trouble at all. I expected Jericho with WWE legends to make a clean contrast against AEW’s stars; instead, the headline already gives the alliance so many banners that I cannot tell whose feud is meant to carry the weight. You can stage a crowded melee well, but every extra name charges rent.

What it costs is focus, before the report even gives me a result. I would watch for one clear grievance and one unattended hinge; otherwise, the veterans become scenery around Jericho.
