Opening post by Lord Gawen Hunter · #1
I keep the hall's energy budget by checking the listed cost before I commit to an action. You should compare it with your current energy first, not after you have tapped through; if the balance will not cover what you need next, wait. I know, I am a pest about the little check...
when two actions are waiting, I spend on the one that matters now and leave the optional one alone. I learned in Brindlemark not to empty the storehouse for the first tempting offer; a thin reserve turns every later choice into a bad one.
before you spend again, look at the remaining energy and the next cost together. If the numbers do not leave room for that next step, save your energy and come back later... Better a patient march than a plan stranded halfway.
