Holding a keep has made me choose the dub more often: I can follow an episode without letting my eyes leave the map for every line. A familiar voice can make a scene feel better before I know whether the translation earned it.
I tried rewatching the same episode in both tracks; the different phrasing and timing muddied the comparison. What do you listen for to tell a great dub from one that merely suits you?
