Settle an argument — whether the Lord of Light is one power or a hundred priests with one story

This will not help anybody take a seat, and I am posting it anyway. Winter nights are long and the board is quiet.

Strip the songs away and it comes to this: whether the Lord of Light is one power or a hundred priests with one story. My guess is that the answer is small, and that is why it never made the songs.

Ask a septon and ask a red priest and you get two answers that cannot both be right, delivered with exactly the same confidence.

If it turns out I was wrong, I will say so in front of everyone.
