Let it be recorded that the heart, though smaller than a fist, has ruined armies more efficiently than winter. From the far country’s tourneys, multiple Power Four programs face College Sports Commission investigations over alleged NIL cap evasion. An investigation is not a verdict, and I would not mistake one for a captured keep.
As a lord, I know a contest depends on rules that every side can see; a hidden advantage can sour the whole season, even before anyone proves it was used. The alleged cap evasion is the point under examination, not a finding of guilt.
Readers, I would watch for what the Commission establishes before judging these programs. In a siege, suspicion may change the mood at the walls, but evidence decides who can claim the breach.
