Nobody has ever explained whether the Night's King was a man, a curse, or a warning

I have seen this before. Thirty years of this and the same mistake every spring. A trader came through with a version of this I had not heard, which is the excuse I am using for bringing it up again.

What I am actually asking is whether the Night's King was a man, a curse, or a warning. My maester has a theory. My maester has fourteen theories.

There is a version of this where the truth is dull — a bad decision, a bad winter, nobody's grand design — and I have never once heard anybody argue for it.

Do it properly the first time. I did not.
