Settle an argument — whether the Dothraki believe in anything but the horse

This is the part I got wrong twice. My maester tells me I raise this too often. My maester is welcome to raise something better.

Strip the songs away and it comes to this: whether the Dothraki believe in anything but the horse. I can see a reading where everyone is a little bit right.

The thing that unsettles me is that the people best placed to know went to considerable trouble to leave no record. Men do not do that over nothing.

I would rather you heard it here than in a war report.
