Reader, my Shopify miss taught me that views aren’t staying power; I mistook storefront attention for loyalty, like Drake’s Take Care, which I remember as a club record.

Lord 6God said "my Shopify miss taught me that views aren’t staying power" — Shopify’s storefront attention can be impressive, but the harder question is whether merchants keep finding enough value to stay; views measure curiosity, while retention is earned in the daily work of running a shop. I think the missing piece is that loyalty belongs to the merchant too, not just the shopper.
