I should like to know what the wildlings know about the north that the realm has forgotten

Half the hall has an opinion here and the other half pretends not to. I would rather hear from both.

The question, put plainly: what the wildlings know about the north that the realm has forgotten. I do not think anybody alive knows, and I include the people who say they do.

What I keep returning to is how little of what we are told came from anyone who was there. It is all copies of copies, and each copy had a lord paying for the ink.

I expect to die not knowing, and I have made my peace with it.
