Look, before your first Sky Trial, fly a broad circle around a tower in clear air. Keep the tower just off your wingtip and ease into the turn; straighten when it comes behind you. You are teaching your hands not to yank the reins when the ground tilts.
Right, practice turning both ways at the same height. Choose one roofline, bring it back into view with a gradual turn, then hold your course instead of correcting every heartbeat. If you drift past it, finish the circle and try again. A calm correction beats a panic spiral, does it not?
Look, on trial day, start the turn before you reach the bend and keep your eyes on the path beyond it. I have seen steadiness save more flights than bravado. Give your mount room to settle, and you will come out with wings level.
