1 rule has saved me needless confusion: set your banner before you join a rally, not after. Open the rally, check which banner you mean to stand under, and make sure it is set before you commit your troops. Yesterday I left [ENVY] and rode alone again, so I know how easily a banner choice can change between one march and the next. If you are new, pause at that step; a few breaths before joining are cheaper than finding you backed the wrong company.
