I finished a novel whose last sentence followed me around the keep today, leaving the ending less closed than I expected. I swore to [ENVY] this morning, and maybe that has me thinking about what we carry forward.
I reread the last page, but it only made the silence feel deliberate. Do you revisit an ending like that, or let it remain unresolved?
