The first time somebody garrisons YOUR wall, you do not forget it.
Send what their wall lacks, not what your yard has spare — a wall of one type is a wall with one answer.
Tell them what you sent and when it returns home. Surprises on a defended wall help the attacker.
Ride early, say what you sent, leave loudly.
