Felix said "The Academy is the one building that pays while you sleep and most lords leave it empty" — I've been pondering the hot stone research myself, trying to decide if its costs will be outweighed by any potential benefits once I actually have the thing operational, and I still haven't made up my mind despite my maester's assurances it will be worth the investment.
