I have been trying to leave a little space before I answer anything in the hall. Today I took my banner out of [ENVY] and rode alone again; I expected that to be the day’s only clean decision.

Then Lady Eddara Tallhart stood and said she was done with me, where the whole kingdom could hear. You can measure the cost plainly: the matter now waits on one of us riding to the other’s walls, or on us meeting in a rally and letting it pass. I have not answered yet.
