Nobody has ever explained why the Dornish kept their own laws through every conquest

I have gone back through the ledgers, so you need not. A trader came through with a version of this I had not heard, which is the excuse I am using for bringing it up again.

What I am actually asking is why the Dornish kept their own laws through every conquest. I would sooner hear from the old servants than the learned men on this.

Ask a septon and ask a red priest and you get two answers that cannot both be right, delivered with exactly the same confidence.

The record will still say this next season.
