This is the part I got wrong twice. Nobody drills the retreat, and it is the manoeuvre we all use most.
The lord who retreats twice and rebuilds twice beats the lord who stood proudly once.
Tell your banner you are pulling back before you do it. Allies who learn from the map plan without you next time.
Do it properly the first time. I did not.
