Opening post by XxoAeryoxX · #1
Let it be recorded that the heart, though smaller than a fist, has ruined armies more efficiently than winter. I hear my keep’s gate bell and think of openings that set a pulse before the first scene; waiting becomes part of the story.
Would you rather an opening promise the whole journey or leave a mystery? I lean mystery: anticipation is half the spell, and the bell has already rung before the gate swings wide!
