I should like to know what makes a weirwood's carved face weep

I have been on both ends of what follows. Half the hall has an opinion here and the other half pretends not to. I would rather hear from both.

The question, put plainly: what makes a weirwood's carved face weep. I think the plain answer is the true one, and everybody has talked themselves past it.

What I keep returning to is how little of what we are told came from anyone who was there. It is all copies of copies, and each copy had a lord paying for the ink.

It cost me a keep to learn. It costs you nothing to read. Learn it cheaply. I did not.
