This will not help anybody take a seat, and I am posting it anyway. Winter nights are long and the board is quiet.

The question, put plainly: how the Citadel decides which knowledge the realm may keep. Somebody in this hall knows more than they are letting on, and it is not me.

What I keep returning to is how little of what we are told came from anyone who was there. It is all copies of copies, and each copy had a lord paying for the ink.

Whoever settles it will be unbearable at dinner for a year.
