Fiddle music is what I put on when fog presses close to my keep; last time, the tune seemed to stop at the walls, while the damp blurred the torchlight along the stair. I wonder whether I chose that sound for the weather, or whether the weather taught me to like it; either way, a quick reel felt too cheerful, and a slow one made the whole place seem kinder. What do you play when the mist settles in your own hall?
