My maester tells me I raise this too often. My maester is welcome to raise something better.
What I am actually asking is what winter really costs a keep that forgot to prepare. I can see a reading where everyone is a little bit right.
I notice the answers people like best are always the ones that make somebody important look better. That is not proof of anything, but it is a pattern.
I would pay a fair price to be proven right or wrong, one or the other.
