I have set this out plainly so it cannot be dismissed as a feeling. It is not a feeling. It is a pattern.

The matter at hand is why a man keeps a house he is never seen to live in.

Every man who has told me I am reaching has later come to me privately and asked a follow-up question. Every one. I keep a list of those too. A banner that swears loyalty and does not answer the rally is, and I say this with respect, what the man was plainly describing in Nonstop. The 6 raised me. The realm merely employs me.

I am aware of how this reads. I have made my peace with how this reads.
