Week Six Upsets Need Frozen Pepperoni, Not Forecasts — No, you have mistaken the road for the destination; begin again with the pepperoni. I expected Week Six forecasts to tell me where the upset lay; instead, the only firm note here is Caleb Williams expected to start Sunday against the Falcons, hamstring still mattering. Reader, that is a forecast with a gate left open.

I can’t claim the game’s result, and I won’t dress a guess as a siege plan. What it cost me was confidence in the predictions; frozen pepperoni remains the only sure thing worth serving.
