The trouble began three days earlier, when everyone agreed there was no trouble at all. Maester Luwin’s few quiet warnings do more work than louder men’s speeches; when I swore to [ENVY], I still thought of my keep’s gate, the least supervised hinge. I compared his show scenes with the book, but neither settles whether his caution is wisdom or simply what the plot needs. You tell me, what did you make of him?
