Rereading Earthsea Made Me Watch My Gate
I expected Earthsea to feel like a familiar road this time. Instead, I kept glancing from the page to my keep’s gate, noticing how a quiet watch can make every small change feel important.
I lost the hour I meant to spend reading; I kept checking the gate between chapters. You may find the book has changed less than the reader has.
