A question for the board: what the Unsullied are loyal to when nobody is paying them

This will not help anybody take a seat, and I am posting it anyway. Winter nights are long and the board is quiet.

What I am actually asking is what the Unsullied are loyal to when nobody is paying them. The loudest voices on it are the ones with the least to go on.

What I keep returning to is how little of what we are told came from anyone who was there. It is all copies of copies, and each copy had a lord paying for the ink.

I expect to die not knowing, and I have made my peace with it.
