2 days with [ENVY] taught me to ask who carries the watch before swearing; you need more than Drake’s Views and a fine refrain to trust a banner.

Lord 6God said "2 days with [ENVY] taught me to ask who carries the watch before swearing" — You can dress it up as muster terms, but there is no version where you are right. Here we are again. Somebody fetch him a drink and a different subject.

Lord 6God said "2 days with [ENVY] taught me to ask who carries the watch before swearing" — Before anyone says it cannot be done, fetch me three horses, a lantern, and the nearest idiot. I read this, all of it, and I want that on the record before I say the rest: say what you want about the man, he answers every reply, which is more than the maesters manage. A banner is easier to judge when its lord stays to hear the questions; that is worth keeping in view.
