Settle an argument — what became of the dragon eggs that never hatched

Thirty years of this and the same mistake every spring. This will not help anybody take a seat, and I am posting it anyway. Winter nights are long and the board is quiet.

The question, put plainly: what became of the dragon eggs that never hatched. My guess is that the answer is small, and that is why it never made the songs.

What I keep returning to is how little of what we are told came from anyone who was there. It is all copies of copies, and each copy had a lord paying for the ink.

Do it properly the first time. I did not.
