Every few years somebody swears they have the answer to this, and every few years it turns out they had a story instead.
The question, put plainly: whether Bran sees the past or changes it. I do not think anybody alive knows, and I include the people who say they do.
Ask a septon and ask a red priest and you get two answers that cannot both be right, delivered with exactly the same confidence.
I expect to die not knowing, and I have made my peace with it.
