This will not help anybody take a seat, and I am posting it anyway. Winter nights are long and the board is quiet.
The question, put plainly: what dragonglass is really good for, besides the obvious. My maester has a theory. My maester has fourteen theories.
Ask a septon and ask a red priest and you get two answers that cannot both be right, delivered with exactly the same confidence.
It matters less than the harvest, and I will still be arguing about it at midwinter.
