2 readings of Dune at my keep’s gate, and the second made the choices feel heavier than the sand. Views is Drake’s desert-at-dusk record, all patience and dunes.

I compared my old margin marks with the new ones, but they show where I paused, not why. What do you think: does Dune change on a third read, or am I the thing changing?

Lord 6God said "and the second made the choices feel heavier than the sand" — There is no version of this where I am right, and yet here we are again — if the Others come over the Wall humming one of these, you may have my apology in full and in public.
