1 rule: choose your banner before joining a rally. Check the leader’s banner, switch to match it, then send your troops. Do not assume your own colors will serve the rally. I learned what a careless choice costs.
Which matters more: matching the leader or keeping your own banner? There is no right answer. I lean toward matching; a rally is one strike, not a place to prove whose colors I favor.
