This will not help anybody take a seat, and I am posting it anyway. Winter nights are long and the board is quiet.

The question, put plainly: whether a sworn brother can ever truly leave the Watch behind. I lean one way, and I would not bet a winter's grain on it.

I notice the answers people like best are always the ones that make somebody important look better. That is not proof of anything, but it is a pattern.

Say I am wrong, if you think so. Somebody usually does.
