The 30-Day Roadmap

Quick answers

Is Iron Realms free to play?
Yes. Iron Realms is free to play in any browser with no download and no account required. Every building, troop tier and Seat of Power is reachable without spending money — purchases buy speed and cosmetics, never a higher ceiling.
Does spending money make you stronger in Iron Realms?
No. Nothing purchasable raises your power ceiling. A charter audit runs on every build and fails it if any offer would sell power. Spending compresses time: the summit takes about 24 months free, or 18 months with the $9.99 monthly Charter held throughout.
How long does it take to max a keep in Iron Realms?
About 24 months of free play at roughly half an hour a day, or 18 months with the $9.99 Warden's Charter. Keeps cap at level 45 and troops at tier 13 — the same summit for everyone.

Four weeks, four goals. Follow the arc and you will be holding a starred Seat of Power — and pulling its alliance-wide bonus — inside a month of steady play.

Week 1 — Foundations

Push the Keep hard and keep every economy building within one level of it. Finish the first two economy research studies, settle into an active alliance, and learn the troop triangle on creature camps. Target: a self-sustaining economy and a small, counter-balanced army.

Week 2 — Military spine

Raise the Training Yard, unlock your second and third troop tiers, and add a dedicated Siege line for walls. Recruit and level a march commander. Start rallying with your alliance on targets bigger than your own keep — this is where coordinated play begins to pay.

Week 3 — Map presence

Move your keep toward your alliance's territory so you can reinforce and be reinforced. Contribute to alliance forts for the standing gathering bonus, and take part in a war so you understand rallies, focus-fire, and battle plans under real pressure.

Week 4 — Seize a seat

With your alliance, scout a Seat of Power within your weight class, draw a Battle Plan, and strike together inside the window. Holding a seat pays an alliance-wide bonus and a personal title — but it must be defended, so rotate reinforcements and watch for counter-rallies.

Quick recap
  • Week 1 economy, Week 2 army, Week 3 map, Week 4 a seat
  • Move near your alliance before you fight for territory
  • A seat is a commitment to defend, not a trophy to grab
