Five generators, one country
These are deliberately not five unrelated toys. They share word stock, so a house, its seat, its words, its lord and its dragon can be generated in five clicks and still sound like they came out of the same place — which is the thing that is genuinely hard about naming a fantasy world and the thing most generators do not help with at all.
Roll a house. Roll it a castle. Roll it words. You now have more setting than most first sessions need:
| Generator | It rolled |
|---|---|
| Lord & lady names | Halvard Yarrowveth |
| House names | House of the Sun |
| House words | Ruin Rises Sorrow |
| Castle names | Heathburn |
| Dragon names | Orviesh |
Why the words are constrained
Every one of these generators could produce ten times as many names by loosening its word pools, and every one of them would immediately sound like nowhere. A name only feels like it belongs to a place if it shares morphemes with the other names from that place — the same handful of landscape words, the same endings, the same refusal to use adjectives.
So the pools are tied to the strategy game this site belongs to. The castle generator's word parts are required, by a check that fails the build, to be able to spell every seat the game's nine Great Houses actually hold. The house generator's beasts are the beasts on those houses' banners. The dragon epithets are the colours the game's own dragon eggs come in. None of that is retyped: it is read out of the game's code every time these pages are rebuilt.
No account, no limits
Nothing here asks for an email, sets a cookie, or sends what you generate anywhere — every generator runs entirely inside your own browser, which is also why they keep working if your connection drops. Click as many times as you like.
Can I use these names?
Yes — for anything, including commercial work, with no permission and no credit required. Short strings like a name or a two-word motto are not the kind of thing anyone can own, and the crest you compose is your composition, not ours. Take it to a novel, a tabletop campaign, a stream overlay, a band, a boat, a business card.
We ask for exactly nothing in return: no account, no email, no sign-up, no watermark. Nothing you type or click here is sent anywhere — every one of these tools runs entirely inside your own browser, so there is no server that could keep your design even if it wanted to. If you want to tell somebody where it came from, a link back is kind, but it is not a condition.

The heraldry forge designs a coat of arms and hands it back as a PNG or an SVG, and the which dragon would you ride quiz answers a question you did not know you had. Everything is on the tools index.
