Cost, time and bonus at every level

Crown Charters runs to level 6, adding +1.2% to gather_yield and 106 power each time. Studying it out costs the four soft resources — the same amount of each — and takes 7m 20s for the final level alone. Gems are only ever the optional instant finish; the study itself is bought with what your fields already make.

Taken from nothing to level 6 that is 20m 6s of raw study and 48,960 of each of food, wood, stone and iron — 195,840 resources in total.

Where it sits in the tree

Crown Charters belongs to the Dominion branch — the statecraft line — roads, ravens, coin and the reach of your writ. It stays locked until Royal Writs reaches level 5 and Toll Roads reaches level 5. Nothing further in the tree depends on it, so it is a leaf: worth taking for its own bonus, never as a stepping stone.

The road here: Agriculture to level 5 → Logistics to level 5 → Statecraft to level 5 → Taxation to level 8 → Trade Charters to level 5 → Banking to level 5 → Royal Writs to level 5 → Crown Charters. That is 7 studies standing between a fresh Academy and this one.

Every figure above is generated from the shipped game code — the same constants and formulas the running game uses — and regenerated whenever the balance changes. Nothing on this page is hand-typed.

Iron Realms is an original work of fantasy strategy. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other game or franchise, and “Iron Realms” is a working project name rather than necessarily the final title. Its lore, names and artwork are original or used under CC0/CC-BY/OFL licences (see the in-game Credits). The community section also hosts unofficial fan tributes — quizzes and diversions made for fun, not part of the game — which name other fictional worlds under their own labels and are likewise not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to their rights holders.
